Abstract In this paper, some usual methods of extractions of volatile flavor compounds from plants were
introduced, mainly including hydrodistillation extraction,solvent extraction,simultaneous distillation extraction,
supercritical fluid extraction, ultrasound-assisted extraction, solid-phase micro extraction, and the extracted
components were analyzed separately.
