Abstract Using solid catalyst to catalyze the reaction of trimethylolpropane and acetone， we study on the
effects of reaction time，reaction temperature，dosage of catalyst and catalyst carrier of acid on the reaction．And
we get the optimum reaction conditions: catalyst supported acid is 50%， the reaction time is 6 h and the
amount of catalyst is 20% of total quality raw materials．The reaction product is characterized by IR spectra and
the reaction conversion rate can reach 98．3%．
