Abstract
In order to take part in Engineering Education Accreditation, taking the Thermodynamics of Chemical Engineering as an example, the establishment of course objectives, the determining effect of course objective on the teaching content, and the decisive role of goals on the course content and the guarantee of realization of course objectives were are discussed. At the same time, the concept of outcomes-based education is fully embodied in the teaching design, and the course is proved to have played an important role in cultivating professional talents.
