This paper takes the pilot “3+2” project of linking higher vocational education with the undergraduate education of pharmacy major in Jilin Institute of Chemical Technology as an example to analyze the significance of the training of application-oriented talents in “3+2” adult higher education based on the needs of the pharmaceutical talent market and society in China. According to the characteristics of the students, the paper explores the training mode of “3+2” adult higher education for pharmacy major that are suitable for the development of the pharmaceutical industry, and puts forward valuable ideas and countermeasures.
