Research on the Measurement of Manufacturing Industry Chain Toughness and Enhancement Path of the Three Eastern Provinces under the Context of New Quality Productivity

Abstract: The new quality productivity has injected new impetus into the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry in the three northeastern provinces. This study measures the resilience of the manufacturing industry's industrial chain in the three northeastern provinces from 2013 to 2022 through the Theil index and analyzes the contribution of the automotive, aerospace, and petroleum manufacturing industries. The results show that the stability of the manufacturing industry's industrial chain resilience in Heilongjiang Province is the strongest, and the development trends of the industrial chain resilience in the three provinces are synchronous. The study proposes to enhance the resilience of the manufacturing industry's industrial chain through paths such as promoting the vertical extension of advantageous industries, building a horizontal industrial synergy framework, and driving industrial digital transformation through innovation, thereby promoting the high-quality development of the regional manufacturing industry.
