Abstract: Starting from traditional historical materialism , Xi Jinping's Thought on ecological civilization has made a theoretical response to ecological issues based on Contemporary Chinese practice in terms of the totality of production relations, the systematization of exchange value and use value, and the synchronicity of the modernization of man and nature.It has made an original contribution to historical materialism.It has made a regular exploration on the production conditions , production relations and institutional justice of modernization under the socialist system, and pointed out the logical inevitability of socialist modernization towards modern ecological civilization.
