英语阅读中影响词汇附带习得因素的研究

摘要 词汇附带习得指学习者在进行有意义的语言使用活动或学习任务时,其注意力并非在词汇上,却无意中增加了词汇知识,是一种注意力聚焦于其它活动时顺便出现的认知活动。本文通过对吉林某大学英语专业大二学生阅读实验测试发现:阅读语篇的主题和阅读文章的生词密度都对词汇附带习得产生影响。通过探讨在阅读中影响词汇附带习得的相关因素,期望能够丰富二语习得的理论研究,同时对英语词汇教学也有一定的现实指导作用。

Abstract: Incidental vocabulary acquisition refers to enrich vocabulary unintentionally in the process of meaningful language activities and learning assignment, it is an accidental cognitive activity when the attention focuses on the other things. The paper finds that the topic and the density of the new words in the reading materials can affect the incidental vocabulary acquisition through the test. The objects of the test are the sophomores of English major in one of the universities of Jilin. The paper expects to rich the theory of second language acquisition by discussing the factors influencing incidental vocabulary acquisition; meanwhile it aims to play a guiding role in the English vocabulary teaching.
