Abstract: The red culture of Jilin Province is rooted in the practice of the Jilin people's revolution and construction led by the Party, with the spirit of the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Front as its core. It serves as an important local educational resource for the "big ideological and political course" in universities. Integrating Jilin's red culture into the "big ideological and political course" in universities is conducive to expanding the practical dimension and spatial form of ideological and political education, enhancing the practical support for theoretical interpretation, constructing a curriculum system that unifies national value guidance with local characteristics, and promoting the transformation of ideological and political education from external indoctrination to value recognition. We should promote the deep integration of red culture and the "big ideological and political course" in universities through curriculum development, practical integration, and collaborative mechanisms.
