Abstract: In order to broaden students' horizons and enhance their adaptabilities in the rapid social and technological development, Jilin Institute of Chemical Technology carried out a reform aimed for interdisciplinary top-notch project in College of Material Science and Engineering based on the practical condition. Measures taken include combination of scientific and educational research, establishment of interdisciplinary platform and 1+1 pattern with the aim of stimulating top-notch cultivation. The project will promote synergy development and explore a new approach for synergy innovation of scientific research and education.
