Research on the current situation and improvement strategies of digital technology use by teachers in applied universities

Abstract: The way university teachers teach and manage is constantly changing with the rapid development of digital technology. However, the wide application of technology does not mean that every teacher can effectively integrate in teaching and management. In order to improve the efficiency of college teachers' use of digital technology, this study discusses the current situation of the use of digital technology by applied college teachers from four dimensions: communication, professional development, teaching and administrative management, and puts forward corresponding improvement strategies from the aspects of changing concepts, strengthening training, and establishing incentive and guarantee mechanisms. This study provides a practical reference for promoting the extensive application of educational technology by teachers in applied universities, so as to enhance the ability of college teachers to use technology.
