Abstract Based on the current situation of the postgraduate students in Jilin Institute of Chemical Technology，
this paper makes a new exploration on how to improve their research level and scientific research ability．
According to the students’characteristics， the researchers made an exploration of the new methods and new
ways of postgraduate education by means of utilizing Party construction to promote the student’scientific
research level，using Party organization to unify the student Party member，accumulate Party members to attract
more students，encouraging Party member’s leading role in promoting scientific research level，casting the soul
of ideal and faith．
