Abstract
One-step preparation process using anhydrous magnesium chloride as carrier. The effects of ester-magnesium ratio, alcohol magnesium ratio, magnesium precursor composition, stirring and heating rate on Ziegler-Natta catalyst activity, polypropylene (PP) bulk density and isotacticity were investigated. The surface structure of the catalyst was investigated. The Ziegler-Natta catalyst system was optimized. The results showed that the comprehensive performance of Polypropylene was the best when the ratio of ester to magnesium was 0.255, the ratio of alcohol to magnesium was 2.6, the proper amount of ethoxy magnesium was added to the precursor, and the heating time was 4 h.
