| Some Suggestions on Cultivation of Innovative Talents in the Context of Emerging Engineering Education |

Abstract The emerging engineering education is the important content of the current higher education reform．
In order to establish a new engineering education，the local colleges and universities should break the theology
of traditional education， integrate the traditional education modes， make clear the new target of talent training
and adapt to the new requirements of economic development．This paper discusses the backgrounds of the new
engineering construction and puts forward some thoughts and suggestions on how to strengthen the students’
“creation-innovation-entrepreneurship”ability from the following aspects: optimization of the training mode，
reform of the teaching methods and strengthening of the practice teaching， which is supposed to provide new
ideas for the talents training and students’employment of the local colleges and universities．
