Abstract
In the network technology environment, Electronic Portfolio records students’ progress and reflection in the learning process in the form of pictures, recordings, videos and documents, and stores and displays learners’ academic efforts and rewards in a convenient and timely manner in the form of databases. Based on the formative evaluation, this paper analyzes its application in English teaching through investigation and research, studies the technical support, teacher’s role, and student’s role of electronic portfolio in English learning, and explains the feasibility and significance of introducing electronic portfolio into English teaching.
