Abstract With the popularization of quality-oriented education, the role of student society of theoretical study is becoming increasingly prominent. The society has gradually become a powerful platform to promote the study of ideological and political courses and it is also an indispensable part in the construction of campus culture. Based on the status and relationship between the courses and student societies, and the current situation of the combination of the courses and the societies, this paper makes a concrete analysis. The effective measures to realize the practical teaching of ideological and political courses combined with the students' theoretical associations have been found in the end, which is to promote the smooth development of college students' ideological and political education.
