Abstract
“Morality education, nurturing root and soul” is the fundamental purpose of China's higher education, for public basic mathematics curriculum, there is a question needed to be explored in this paper that how to implement the fundamental task of moral cultivation, and which is also a long-term construction in the future. For the public basic mathematics curriculum, the historical mission of nurturing “soul” is clarified, the connotation construction of nurturing “soul” is exploited, and the teaching formation of nurturing“soul”is explored. Taking some mathematics knowledge points as examples, the paper discussed the design idea of moral education resources, and measures of integrating ideological and political elements into courses, forming a unified curriculum system of“knowledge transferring, ability cultivating, and mentality shaping”, to bring out more efficient functions from education, and improve the quality of personnel cultivating.
