Abstract Polyvinylidene fluoride membrane has been modified by surface to study the filtering performance. The modified membrane is prepared by operating pressure, concentration of ferric hydroxide colloid. The surface of membrane is confirmed by SEM measurement, The performance of modified membrane is measured by pur water flux, BAS retention rate, contact Angle, and the requirements of the ultrafiltration membrane is confirmed by flux, retention rate and contact angle.
