Abstract Barite dissolved by aqua regia and hydrofluoric acid soluble salt, dried to remove silicon by hydrochloric acid leaching, and then through filtering, washing and burning constant weight, quick got the amount of barium sulphate and strontium sulphate. Through the X-ray fluorescence spectrometry, the content of strontium sulfate was determined by the calculation of barium sulfate. This method was simple, fast, and efficient.
