Abstract The most recent achievements in the construction of phenyl pyrimidine compounds have a wide
range of uses in the field of medicine and pesticide． This paper mainly introduces the synthesis of phenyl
pyrimidine compounds: by coupling reaction， by the construction of aromatic ring and by the construction of
pyrimidine ring．
