The characteristics of scientific English reading and the common problems existing in classroom teaching are introduced in this paper. The paper discusses the teaching research of scientific English reading course from the aspects of textbook selection and teachers' construction, and emphasizes infiltrating ideological education, which helps to improve classroom teaching quality and broaden students' humanistic and scientific knowledge.
