With the progress of science and technology, social innovation, the development of new media platform, people 's way of reading and audio-visual sense also have changed, paper media on journals in local universities have been unable to adapt to the development of the times and audience needs. Promoting the integration of publishing media is the general trend, which brings better opportunities for the innovation and development of local colleges journals. Under the background of media convergence, local colleges journals should conform to the development trend of media convergence and choose the development path in order to achieve media win-win situation. Based on this, this paper analyzes the current situation of media integration of local university journals, and puts forward corresponding optimization strategies for the problems.
