Abstract: Big data enables the teaching evaluation methods of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities to achieve the organic combination of process evaluation and outcome evaluation, the positive interaction between standardized evaluation and personalized evaluation, the innovative integration of value-added evaluation and tracking evaluation, and the effective synthesis of entropy weight evaluation and association evaluation, so as to achieve the effect of "promoting learning by evaluation", "promoting teaching by evaluation" and "promoting reform by evaluation". Then, it provides solid theoretical support and practical basis for scientifically answering the preconditions and basic questions of teaching evaluation methods of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities, such as "why evaluate", "who evaluates" and "how to evaluate".
