Abstract: Food professional English is the important tool for professional students to learn foreign advanced
technology and open international vision.However, students’learning interest isn’t high, and teaching effect
isn’t ideal, which is partly caused by obscure food professional English vocabulary and long sentence
structures.The rise of“flipped classroom”provides a new idea for food professional English teaching reform.
The diversification of teaching methods, enrichment of teaching resources as well as the normalization of
students’autonomous learning make“flipped classroom”teaching mode become the forefront teaching reform
method,which is also an effective means to improve the state of food professional English teaching.
