Abstract: With the advancement of big data, educational informatization in higher education is developing toward greater personalization and intelligence. Focusing on key areas such as teaching optimization, student services, and administrative decision-making, this study systematically reviews the application models of big data in education and identifies core challenges including data integration, privacy protection, and platform development. Based on a comprehensive analysis, it proposes a data-driven path for informatization, involving content updates, management process restructuring, and organizational culture transformation. The study concludes that building adaptive technical systems and collaborative mechanisms is essential for improving both educational quality and governance efficiency.
