Due to many input signals, constraints and interlocking conditions, etc., the traditional design method is difficult to solve or there are many memory elements in the complex pneumatic program electronic control system. The paper proposes a new grouping principle based on the characteristics of monostable and bistable directional valves with the optimization goal of "the fewer groups the better", and simplifies the circuit design by using logic function operations. The simulation and experimental results show that this method is not only scientific, efficient, simple and regular, moreover, the designed electrical circuit has the advantages of simple structure, simple and intuitive fault diagnosis and elimination.
