Abstract: This paper takes "running brothers" as the main research object and studies the phenomenon of large number of foreign reality shows introduced in China and compares the shows with the original versions. It also explains why the reality shows need to be improved and it is focusing on localization to emphasize that the introduced programs can be more innovative so as to increase the degree of localization in reality shows in the future. Then the introduced program is compared with the original program in many aspects, such as the link setting and program production so as to analyze the advantages of the native programs and analyze the future development of Chinese reality shows.
