Abstract
in order to overeome the deleets of traditional experimental instruments that are expensive andrequire a fixed place for teaching, a funetion signal generator based on MAX038 is designed using theS'T'M32F103 mierocontroller, and at the same time, a virtual instrument containing a signal souree and anoseilloscope is designed using the LabVlEW development platform. ln order to argue the correctness of thedesign and simplify the complexity of the desigu , Altium Desinger is utilized to design Printed Circuit Board(PCB) sample boards for hardware testing to complete the design and installation.In the paper, the uppercomputer software is used to generate a variety of commonly used waveforms, and then send the data to themieroeontroller through the serial communieation port, which in turn eontrols the MAX038 circuit to output avariely of waveforms of analog signals,This design can generate sine wave, triangle wave, square wave and othercommonly used waveforms, the output fequeney range of 0 to 20MHz, and has an independent duty cyele andfrequeney adjustment, Experimental results show that the system produces clear waveforms with stablefrequeney,phase and amplitude.
