Abstract: Univernsities play a crucial role in providing education to college students and bear the significant responsibility of imparting national defense education to them The current period in China is witnessing unpreeedented changes of a century, and the security situation is undergoing profound transformations. The contemporary college students are facing changing times and environments, which necessitates the improvement and innovation of national defense education methods in colleges and universities. This presents new challenges to the current state of national defense education in higher education institutions Therefore, it is of paramoun importance to explore novel approaches to national defense edueation from diverse perspectives, taking into account the current state of affairs in colleges and universities.
