Abstract
When the metal wire is subjected to axial tension, its length and cross-sectional area will change slightly, and its resistance will also change accordingly. A new method for measuring the elastic modulus of the metal wire with high precision and easy operation was designed according to the change in resistance of the metal wire during stretching with the Wheatstone bridge.
