Abstract
There are many ways to measure surface tension,of which the pull-out method is a simple and effective one.Based on pull-out method, this experiment measures the surface tension coefficient by changing the sediment content and temperature of the river water to explore whether the measured value of the liquid surface tension coefficient will be effected as the sediment content and temperature changes. And the variation of surface tension coefficient of river water in clear and turbidity state is compared and analyzed.According to the analysis of the experimental results,it can be seen that the measured value of liquid surface tension is
related to the change of sediment content and temperature, and the surface tension coefficient of the river water in the turbidity state is generally greater than that in the clear state.
